The Kenosha area is a thriving community with so much to
see and do for all ages. Our many parks, lakes and nature
areas offer an array of outdoor recreation through all seasons
including golf, biking, fishing, boating, skiing and much
more. Youth and family centers, including the YMCA, Boys &
Girls Club and LakeView RecPlex offer programs to build strong
character and solid family values. Events are a way of life
in the Kenosha Area and there is no shortage of them. From
festivals and fairs to sports tournaments and concerts, there
is always an event waiting to be experienced. Hometown sports
teams include minor league baseball and semi-pro football, with national league
teams just a short drive away in nearby Milwaukee, Green
Bay and Chicago.
Kenosha’s proximity to Milwaukee and Chicago also offers
additional entertainment and leisure choices. From small town
to big city, it’s all within reach. Chicago and Milwaukee
are literally minutes away. Milwaukee is easily accessible
by car via Interstate 94 in just under 30 minutes. And experience
the Windy City of Chicago via the METRA rail system, offering
several daily departures from its Kenosha station.
